Cookies notice

Last updated September 2026

The short version: one HttpOnly session cookie, no trackers, no ad-tech, no consent theatre. Here is the detail.

The one cookie we set

Buzzeee sets exactly one cookie: buzzeee_session. It is created when you log in with Kick and is deleted when you log out.

  • Type: strictly necessary / strictly functional
  • HttpOnly: yes - not readable by JavaScript in your browser
  • Purpose: keeps you logged in to the dashboard
  • Contains: an opaque session identifier, no personal data in the cookie itself
  • Expires: when you log out, or after session expiry

What we do not set

We do not set any other cookies:

  • No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar);
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies;
  • No third-party embeds that drop cookies;
  • No "accept all" banner to click - there is nothing to consent to beyond the login session.

Local browser storage

The public verifier (/verify) keeps proof bundles you paste in memory only, and it never sends them to our servers - verification runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is persisted to disk.

Changes

If we ever add a cookie for analytics or anything optional, this notice will change and we will ask before setting anything non-essential. That is the entire cookie story for Buzzeee today.
