The 3-Phase Commit-Reveal Protocol
Unlike ordinary wheel-spin apps where results can be manipulated behind the scenes, Buzzeee enforces an immutable three-phase cryptographic lifecycle:
Before anyone can enter, the system generates a secret 256-bit server seed and publicly registers its SHA-256 hash. Once published, the winning sequence is mathematically locked.
When the streamer closes entries, the entire entrant list is canonicalized, sorted alphabetically by platform and user ID, and frozen into a SHA-256 manifest hash. No late entries or stealth removals can occur.
When the draw executes, the secret server seed is published. Anyone can paste the proof bundle into the open verifier at /verify to re-run the rejection sampling algorithm locally in their browser.
Chat Entry Intake & Ticket Weights
Giveaways can be configured with automated chat listening rules:
- Keyword triggers: Entrants type your custom keyword (e.g.
!join,!win) in stream chat. - Account age limits: Reject bot accounts created less than X days ago.
- Subscriber bonus weights: Reward subscribers or VIPs with weighted tickets (e.g. 1x for viewers, 3x for tier-1 subs).
