Platform Integration
Connecting Platforms (Kick & Twitch)
How Buzzeee connects to streaming platforms via official OAuth2 protocols without touching passwords or sensitive broadcast credentials.
Kick OAuth Scopes Breakdown
When you authorize Buzzeee on Kick, we request the following scopes strictly necessary to power stream tools:
| Scope | Purpose | Access Level |
|---|---|---|
| user:read | Retrieves your channel username, avatar, and unique Kick user ID. | Read-Only |
| channel:read | Queries livestream status, stream category, and viewer metrics. | Read-Only |
| events:subscribe | Listens to chat messages for giveaway entries and subscription events. | Read-Only |
| chat:write | Allows our bot to announce giveaway winners and bonus hunt recaps in chat. | Write (Opt-in) |
Zero-Credential Guarantee
Buzzeee operates exclusively via standard OAuth2 authorization codes. We never see, store, or ask for your Kick or Twitch account passwords. Tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
Twitch EventSub Support
For creators streaming on Twitch or dual-streaming, Buzzeee uses official Webhook-based Twitch EventSub subscriptions to detect chat entries, Bits cheering, and subscriptions in real time.
